The Oshkosh Giants baseball team suffered a 3-2 loss in the first game of Sunday’s doubleheader when the Crestwood Panthers broke a tie with a run in the top of the ninth inning.

The Giants’ response? A 17-hit, 21-12 victory in Game 2 that saw Oshkosh score 10 runs off 10 hits in the bottom of the third.

Derek Hiroskey of the Giants went 4-for-5. Mickey Fadness, Drew Eichstaedt and Travis Helland each had a four-RBI game, with Justin Jirschele driving in three. Eichstaedt and Fadness both recorded a triple, and Helland homered.

Kyle Kannenberg pitched a complete game in the nightcap and fanned six batters.
