The Wisconsin State Baseball League today launched its brand new website. The new site offers fans a fresh design, easier access of content, and the integration of Facebook and Twitter.
Just in time for the 2010 season, the official site of the Wisconsin State League, www.wisconsinstateleague.com, has received a makeover. Developed by the Sheboygan A’s assistant coach, C.J. Skelton, the new site offers fans a fresh design, easier access of content, as well as better functionality, and the integration of the new Facebook and Twitter feeds.
The first thing fans will notice as they come to the site, is the revamped site layout and background, offering a more modern feel to the site. Also noticeable right away, is a enhanced featured news section, displaying the five most recent news articles on wisconsinstateleague.com. This feature gives fans quick and easy access to the most recent happenings of the Wisconsin State League and its teams.
Also revamped, is the upcoming games feature. In the past, the site only listed games that were occurring on that specific day. With the new upcoming games portion, the next five games to be played in the league are on full display on the home page.
The second tier of the home page offers a poll question, and a quick view of the league standings, we well as the brand new Facebook and Twitter feeds for the Wisconsin State League.
A navigation system has been added to the footer, site-wide, for quicker navigation to specific sections of the website, as well as links to team sites and league social media sites.
The interior of the site offers a cleaner look as well, with a wider, less cluttered content area. The interior of the site was built to be simple, yet capable of expanding with new features in the future.
