Behind a pair of home runs and a solid effort on the mound, the Eau Claire Cavaliers beat the East Side Merchants, 9-0 , Wednesday night.

Ben Otto and Ty Fadness each smacked a home run to lead the Cavaliers offense. Starting pitcher Yoshinori Machida also shut down the Merchants for four innings to help Eau Claire earn the win.

The victory improves the Cavaliers to 13-8 on the season, and moves their winning streak to four games. Eau Claire next travels to face the Red Wing Aces Friday, July 2nd. First pitch is slated for 7:30 p.m.
