The Sheboygan A's hit the ball with authority Tuesday night, ripping four doubles and a home run among their 11 hits, to beat the Oshkosh Giants by a 9-5 count.
The Sheboygan A’s hit the ball with authority Tuesday night, ripping four doubles and a home run among their 11 hits, to beat the Oshkosh Giants by a 9-5 count.
The victory gives the A’s a 1-0 record in both the State League and the Northeastern Wisconsin League as the game counts in both leagues.
Tim Patzman belted two long doubles to drive in three runs, Grant Berkovitz had two hits, Justin Hunt a home run, and Ryan Solberg and Taylor Schwarz each a double.
Ben Stanczyk pitched five shutout innings to earn the win. Jake Ristow and Shaun Wegner finished up.

The A’s are on the road for the rest of the week, playing at Kenosha tonight, at Green Bay Friday night and a doubleheader at Appleton Saturday.
