The Sheboygan A's spilt a Wisconsin State League doubleheader Sunday at Lombard, winning the opener 3-0 before dropping the nightcap 3-2.
The Sheboygan A’s spilt a Wisconsin State League doubleheader Sunday at Lombard, winning the opener 3-0 before dropping the nightcap 3-2.
Collin Weyer threw a six-hit shutout in Game 1, getting out of a final-inning jam with a game-ending double play.
Ryan Schilter drove a run with a two-out double.
Tim Patzman tied Game 2 in the sixth inning with a solo home run, but the Orioles scored in the seventh for the win.
The A’s are now 4-2 in the WSL and 10-6 overall; they host Menasha Tuesday.
