Cavaliers fall twice to Lombard in doubleheader

The Eau Claire Cavaliers dropped both games of Saturday's doubleheader against Wisconsin State League rival Lombard, losing 12-2 in game one and 13-7 in game two.

The Eau Claire Cavaliers dropped both games of Saturday’s doubleheader against Wisconsin State League rival Lombard, losing 12-2 in game one and 13-7 in game two.

The losses drop Eau Claire’s overall record to 17-8. The Cavaliers are now 7-3 in the Wisconsin State League, and trail the Manitowoc Bandits by a game for first place.

The Cavaliers will finish up their weekend series with Lombard with another doubleheader Sunday. The team returns home to Carson Park on July 13th.
