Cavaliers earn doubleheader split with Lombard

The Eau Claire Cavaliers closed out a weekend four-game series with Lombard by splitting a doubleheader against the Orioles Sunday.

The Eau Claire Cavaliers closed out a weekend four-game series with Lombard by splitting a doubleheader against the Orioles Sunday. The Cavs lost game one 7-2 before coming back to win game two, 13-8.

The Cavaliers dropped three of the four games against the Orioles this weekend to fall to 20-7 overall and 8-4 in the Wisconsin State League. The Cavs are two games behind the Manitowoc Bandits for first place.

The Eau Claire Cavaliers next travel to face the Sheboygan A’s for a four-game weekend series July 9th and 10th. The Cavs return to Carson Park on July 13th to take on the Menomonie Eagles.
