The Kenosha Kings got off to a fast start and held on to beat the Sheboygan A’s by a 5-3 score in Kenosha Wednesday night.

Once again it was errors that led to the A’s downfall as boots figured into all three of Kenosha’s run-scoring innings.  The Kings scored one in the first, and three in the second before the A’s got on the board with a run in the third. Kenosha answered that in the bottom of the third for a 5-1 lead and couldn’t score after that.

Trailing 5-2 going into the seventh, the A’s registered four straight hits to make the score 5-3 with nobody out and the bases loaded, but nobod could get the big hit and club went down to its 15th loss of the season against 18 wins.

Joey Patzman and Taylor Schwarz had two hits for the A’s Eric Van Beck was the victim of the A’s shoddy defense and took the loss despite giving up only six hits.
