Orioles sweep past A’s

The Lombard Orioles swept the Sheboygan A's on Sunday in Lombard.
The Sheboygan A’s went 1-3 on a weekend Wisconsin State League road trip in Illinois Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday, the A’s lost to eight-time defending WSL champion Lombard, by scores of 6-4 and 10-0.
In the opener, Lombard scored four runs in the first inning, though the A’s cut a deficit to 5-4 before falling short.
Chad Langley had three hits, including a two-run home run, and Tim Patzman also hit a two-run homer.
Grant Evans added two hits. Brandon Winfield took the loss.
In the second game, the A’s (12-11, 1-7 WSL) managed only two hits, one each by Hunt and manager Kyle Trewyn.
