CSBL defeats WSL in All-Star Game

The Chicago Suburban League All-Stars scored two runs in the top of the first inning and led the rest of the way to post a 5-2 victory over the Wisconsin State League All-Stars.
KENOSHA – The Chicago Suburban League All-Stars scored two runs in the top of the first inning and led the rest of the way to post a 5-2 victory over the Wisconsin State League All-Stars in the annual game played at historic Simmons Field here Wednesday night.
Mike Bolling of the Westmont Red Sox and Steve Pellack and Todd Sippel of the Beecher Muskies each had two hits to lead the win. Earning the win as the most effective pitcher was Noah Lieberman of the Homestead Ranchers.
For Wisconsin, Kenosha’s John Hasser had two hits and Lombard’s Ryan Tutland hit a triple. Randy Johnson of Kenosha was the losing pitcher.
