Giants set tryout dates

The Oshkosh Giants have set dates for their tryouts for the 2013 season.
The Oshkosh Giants of the Wisconsin State League will hold tryouts on May 22 and May 23 beginning 6:00 P.M. at Tidermann Field in Oshkosh.
Tryouts are not exclusive to University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh students.

The Giants open up their 2013 season on Wednesday May 29, in a non-league game against the Kewaskum A’s. The Giants Wisconsin State League opener is on June 1 when they travel to Kenosha to face the Kings in a doubleheader.
The Wisconsin State League is one of the premier semi-professional/amateur baseball leagues in the mid-west. In operation since 1970, the Wisconsin State League is a highly competitive league that features many of the midwest's top current and former collegiate athletes, as well as many former professional baseball players.
