Brandon Jeffery pitched three innings of shutout relief as the Kenosha Kings downed the Northern Illinois Legends, 8-5, in a Langsdorf League game Tuesday night at Simmons Field.

The game ended in the eighth inning due to a time limit.

Pitching in relief of Kyle Cibrario, Jeffery allowed only one hit and one walk while striking out four. Cibrario gave up five runs (three earned) on three hits in five innings. He walked four and struck out six.

Joe Ferro (2-for-3) had a bases-clearing double in the sixth to help break it open for the Kings (13-2, 5-0 Langsdorf).

Tyler Eickmeyer went 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored and Joe Balestreri went 2-for-4.
