Andrew Highland drove in a pair of runs in an eight-run sixth inning as the Kenosha Kings defeated Sheboygan, 11-1 at Simmons Field.

Andrew Highland drove in a pair of runs in an eight-run sixth inning as the Kenosha Kings defeated Sheboygan, 11-1, in eight innings in a Langsdorf League/Wisconsin State League game at Simmons Field.

The Kings (14-2) improved to 9-0 in the WSL and 6-0 in the Langsdorf.

Highland finished 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored. Derek Idstein, Jason Dennis and Joe Balestreri had two hits each.

John Snelten (1-0) pitched six strong innings. The right-hander allowed four hits and one run (earned) with two walks and nine strikeouts.

The Kings travel to Menasha for a split doubleheader with Menasha and Two Rivers 3 p.m. Saturday.
