WSL Awards, Hall of Fame Dinner Set For Jan. 25

The Wisconsin State League will honor past and present when it holds its annual Awards and Hall of Fame dinner at the Sheboygan Yacht Club on Saturday January 25.
The Wisconsin State Baseball League will honor players from 2013 as well as from as far back as the 1970’s when it holds its annual Awards and Hall of Fame dinner at the Sheboygan Yacht Club on Saturday, January 25.
The dinner is open to all baseball fans who can register by completing the accompanying form and returning to the league office by January 18.
Highlighting the dinner will be the induction of the league’s seventh Hall of Fame class. That will be preceded by the recognition of the league’s most valuable and all-league players of 2013. To be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year are R.D. Boschulte of Madison, Troy Evers and Steve Schulz of the Green Bay Blue Ribbons, Tom Gardner of the Sheboygan A’s, Bill McQueen of the Janesville Aces and Mike Pierce of the Addison Braves.
The evening gets under way with a 5:30 p.m. social hour. Dinner is at 7:00 with the awards program to follow. Cost is $30 per person. The Yacht Club is located at 214 Pennsylvania Ave. in Sheboygan.
