Kings in big win over Sheboygan

The Kenosha Kings used a six-run first en route to a 9-2 win over the Sheboygan A's in a game that counted in both the Langsdorf and Wisconsin State Leagues on Thursday night.

The Kenosha Kings used a six-run first en route to a 9-2 win over the Sheboygan A’s in a game that counted in both the Langsdorf and Wisconsin State Leagues on Thursday night.

The Kings (5-0, 3-0 in both leagues) got five hits and sent 10 men to the plate in the first.

Jon Olson (2-0) cruised with the lead, pitching seven innings and giving up one run on two hits with one walk and seven strikeouts.

Joe Fero had two hits and Jason Dennis drove in two runs for the Kings, who host Oshkosh at 1 p.m. Saturday at Simmons Field in Wisconsin State League doubleheader.
