Jason Bunton was overpowering for the Kenosha Kings on Wednesday night.

The left-hander struck out 15 in seven innings as the Kings blanked the Sheboygan A’s, 6-0, at Wildwood Park in Sheboygan.

Bunton allowed four hits and walked two in improving to 3-0.

Kyle Kutzler struck out two while tossing the final two scoreless innings.

The game counted in both the Wisconsin State League and Langsdorf League standings.

Kenosha (16-7 overall, 7-4 WSL and 9-3 Langsdorf) scored all six of its runs in the third inning, highlighted by Joe Ferro’s two-run single and Marc Cibrario’s two-run double.

Ferro finished 2-for-4 with two RBI, Cibrario went 1-for-4 with two RBI and Paul Pulera went 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored.

Kenosha will play the West Allis Nationals at 7:30 Thursday night at McCarty Park in a Langsdorf League game.
