The Oshkosh Giants won both ends of a Wisconsin State League doubleheader against Eau Claire on Sunday to take three of four games from the Cavaliers over the weekend at E.J. Schneider Field.

Chaz Mohr tossed a five hitter with four strikeouts in the opener on Sunday, leading the Giants to a 5-1 win.

Neil Hebert and Sam Klein each went 2-for-3, while Klein drove in a pair of runs in the win.

Oshkosh then took the nightcap 10-6, with Luke Gajewski going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Jeremy McCarty and Paul Mutch each hitting home runs and finishing with two RBIs. Winning pitcher Davis Yach and McCarty each chipped in a pair of hits.

On Saturday, Michael Becker drove in Skyler Bohn with the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth as Oshkosh pulled out a 6-5 win.

Mutch finished 2-for-5 and drove in two runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game 5 and force extra innings, while Trey Demler finished 3-for-5.

Hebert allowed just five hits, while striking out three for the complete game win.

In the nightcap, Eau Claire used a four-run sixth inning to top Oshkosh, 4-2.

Demler finished 2-for-3, while Taylor Boe added a pair of hits, including an RBI double in the seventh that brought the tying run to the plate but the Giants couldn’t get any closer.

The Giants are on the road Tuesday at Sheboygan but return home Wednesday to host the Menasha Macs at 7:30 p.m. at E.J. Schneider Field.
