Cavaliers split at WSL Challenge

Sam Hurt had a combined seven hits as the Eau Claire Cavaliers split a pair of games Saturday at the Wisconsin State League Challenge in Sheboygan, WI.

Sam Hurt had a combined seven hits as the Eau Claire Cavaliers split a pair of games Saturday at the Wisconsin State League Challenge in Sheboygan, WI.

Hurt was 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs to help the Cavaliers beat the Oshkosh Giants 8-2. Brian Burman added a key sacrifice fly.

Hurt was 3-for-4 with an RBI in the second game, which the Cavaliers dropped 14-6 to the Addison Braves. Ryan Connor also had three hits, two of them doubles, and an RBI. Drew Davis tripled and drove in two runs.
