The Oshkosh Giants are excited to name Alex Brewer as their
new field manager for the 2015 season.

Last year, Brewer was a player-manager for the Manitowoc
Bandits where he racked up honorable mention honors as a utility player in the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. He
also earned the NEW Manager of the Year
award.

Brewer spent his younger days growing up in Rio, Wisconsin
on his father’s dairy farm with four siblings. He attended Rio High School and
graduated in 2009. Wanting to further his education and athletic career, Brewer
enrolled at Lawrence University. There he was a 4-year student-athlete playing
baseball and football. In 2013, his senior year, he was named to the All
Midwest Conference team as a pitcher. Later that year he graduated with a
degree in economics.

He was hired by The Boldt Company in Appleton as a Technical
Engineer in the architectural and engineering department – Bolt Technical
Services.

Currently, Brewer lives in Oshkosh and is engaged to former
Lawrence softball player Cory Paquette, who attends Law school at UW-Madison.

The Giants are enthusiastic to have Alex on board for 2015.
