WSL Tuesday Recap: A’s Edge West Bend 4-3

Mark Wallace turned his first Sheboygan A’s start into a 4-3 complete game victory, beating West Bend in a Wisconsin State League Northern Division matchup Tuesday evening.

Mark Wallace turned his first Sheboygan A’s start into a 4-3 complete
game victory, beating West Bend in a Wisconsin State League Northern
Division matchup Tuesday evening.

Wallace fanned seven batters and distributed seven hits in his win.

A four-run third inning gave the A’s all the runs they would need for the win. Cole Miklavcic had three hits to lead the club.

Oshkosh Giants 7, Appleton Legends 6

The Oshkosh Giants picked up a 7-6 win over the Appleton Legends Tuesday, in a game that lasted 10
innings.

In the bottom of the 10th inning, pinch hitter Luke
Gajewski reached on a bunt single with one out, then was bunted over to
second by Cody Davis. Davis then scored on an Appleton error on the next
at bat.

Troy Mannebach recorded the win on the mound for the
Giants, pitching three innings of relief. He gave up two hits while
striking out five.

Robbie Kleman, Paul Mutch and Brandon Schilling
each had RBI-singles in the 5-run third inning for Oshkosh. Jeremy
McCarty had three hits to lead the Giants at the plate.
