Giants Tab Gajewski as Field Manager in 2016

The Oshkosh Giants have announced that Luke Gajewski has been selected as the team’s field manager for the 2016 season.

Gajewski (pronounced guy-es-key)
wrapped up his collegiate baseball career last spring with the University of
Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he played for four years. The Wausau, WI native
finished his four year career appearing in 121 games for the Titans, batting
.281.
As a member of the Giants in 2015,
Gajewski was selected to the Wisconsin State League All-League First Team.
In addition to Gajewski, Art Long
has been named the Giants assistant coach. Long has spent the last four seasons
with the Giants.
The Giants open up the 2016 season
on Wednesday June 1 at the Appleton Legends. The Giants being Wisconsin State
League play on Saturday June 4 with a four game weekend trip in Lombard, IL to
take on the 12-time defending league champions, the Lombard Orioles.
