A’s Cruise to 7-1 Victory over Nationals

Sheboygan, WI – The Sheboygan A’s surrendered a hit to the first hitter of the game. That is the only one they would allow.

A’s pitchers Taylor Schwarz, Austin Fox, and Austin Wagner combined to one-hit the West Allis Nationals en route to a 7-1 victory Tuesday night at Wildwood Park.

After falling behind 1-0, the A’s put up two runs in the second, one in the third, and four in the fourth to put the game away.

JT Reed collected the only hit for the Nationals.

Ryan Norton and Jake Arens each collected two hits to lead the A’s. Arens picked up three RBI’s, and Mark Wanner contributed two.

Taylor Schwarz got the win in his season debut, going six innings, striking out four and walking three.

Logan Johnson took the loss for West Allis. He pitched four innings, allowing seven hits.
