Sheboygan A’s 18, Oshkosh Giants 5

The Sheboygan A’s scored early and often in their 18-5 defeat over the Oshkosh Giants. Sheboygan exploded for seven in the first inning, sending 12 batters to the plate, helped out by six walks and a hit batsman. The Giants and A’s would trade a few runs back and forth between the third and fifth innings. Four hits for Oshkosh in the sixth made the game interesting at 9-5, before another explosive inning for the A’s scored nine runs to put it away.

West Allis Nationals 7, Kenosha Kings 3

The West Allis Nationals used a big sixth inning to take the lead and go on to defeat the Kenosha Kings 7-3. A Rob Coe single in the bottom of the first got things started for the Nationals. After that, the Kings tacked on runs in each of the second, third, and fourth innings to jump out to a 3-1 lead. The Nationals would respond in the fifth on a Kyle Kalkopf single and a Rob Coe groundout to knot things up. Four more runs in the sixth secured the victory for the Nationals.
