Pair of Blowout Victories Highlights Friday Schedule

A pair of blowout victories highlighted the Wisconsin State League's Friday night schedule.
Lombard Orioles 10, Kenosha Kings 0
The Lombard Orioles defeated the Kenosha Kings 10-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. The Orioles bats were led by John Carmody, Zack Jarosz, Tyler Ward, and Jeremy Quade, who all drove in runs. Austin Polezoes pitched the Orioles to victory. He allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking zero. Gunner Kay threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Tyler Moilanen took the loss for Kenosha Kings. He went four innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits and striking out three. Lombard collected 13 hits. Jarosz, Quade, Keith Kerrigan, and Kyle Fitzgerald each managed multiple hits for Lombard Orioles. Quade and Jarosz each managed three hits to lead Lombard.

De Pere Dodgers 20, Oshkosh Giants 3
Griffin Summers wasted no opportunities at the plate on Friday, driving in five on three hits to lead the De Pere Dodgers past Oshkosh 20-3 on Friday. Summers drove in runs on a double in the third and a double in the fourth. The big inning for De Pere was when they scored eight runs in the fourth inning. Matt Freeman, Summers, Sam Kohnle, Adam Zeratsky, Austin Tlahac, and Mike Manns all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Matt Willems led the Dodgers to victory on the hill. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out two and walking one. Travis Riemer and Jared Van Bramer entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Luke Gajewski took the loss for Oshkosh Giants. He went five innings, allowing 20 runs on 23 hits, striking out three and walking one.
