ADDISON, Ill. – Trevor Theismann tossed a five-inning no-hitter to highlight another strong weekend for the Manitowoc Bandits, who picked up three wins in the four-game Wisconsin State League Series against the Addison Braves.

Despite giving up a run, Theismann became the third pitcher in Bandits history to throw a no-hitter, joining Greg Herr and Chris Schwarz, as Manitowoc picked up an 11-1 win.

The Bandits then completed the sweep of the doubleheader with a 6-2 win as Andrew Wyman tossed a complete game.

On Saturday, the Bandits (6-2 in the WSL) split with the Braves, winning the first game 3-2, while dropping the second, 7-2. Doug Bloom tripled and scored the winning run on an error in the opener, as Joe Christensen picked up the win.

The Bandits will travel to Two Rivers on Tuesday for a showdown with the Polar Bears at Walsh Field. The game is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.
