Kyle Kannenberg tossed a two-hit shutout to lead the Oshkosh Giants to a 9-0 road victory over the Green Bay Storm.

Kannenberg struck out 11 batters and issued just two walks in the game.

“He threw strikes and got ahead of nearly every hitter,” Giants coach Brad Demmin said.

Blake Berger hit a home run and Derek Layton was 3-for-6 for the Giants.

The Oshkosh Giants joined the Northeastern Wisconsin League in 2010, making them the third Wisconsin State League team to also compete in the league, along with the Manitowoc Bandits, and Sheboygan A’s.
