Kings Improve to 9-1 in the State League

Wisconsin State League leader Kenosha swept a doubleheader from the Oshkosh Giants at E.J. Schneider Field on Sunday afternoon.

Wisconsin State League leader Kenosha swept a doubleheader from the Oshkosh Giants at E.J. Schneider Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Kings, who improved to 9-1 in the WSL, won the first game 4-0, while taking the second, 5-3.

Troy Mrkvicka fanned three and allowed just five hits in the opener for Oshkosh (7-8 overall, 3-8 in the WSL), but walked six in the loss.

Sean Grabig, Matt Wells and Alex Mullendore each had RBIs in the nightcap for the Giants.
