Bandits Sweep Braves

A night after the Bandits split with Addison (Ill.), Manitowoc swept the Braves aside in convincing fashion, 12-2 and 7-0, at Municipal Field on Sunday.

MANITOWOC — A night after the Bandits split with Addison (Ill.), Manitowoc swept the Braves aside in convincing fashion, 12-2 and 7-0, at Municipal Field on Sunday.

In the first game, Manitowoc (16-14) had nine of its 19 hits go for extra bases, including a hair of home runs from Brock Wetenkamp. He also had a double and finished with four RBI.

The Bandits had no extra base hits in the second game, but took advantage of Addison’s three errors and six walks to win.
