Cavaliers Sweep Doubleheader from Kenosha

The Eau Claire Cavaliers opened league play Saturday at Carson Park with a sweep of the Kenosha Kings, 3-1 in the first game, and 9-8 in game two.
The Eau Claire Cavaliers opened league play Saturday at Carson Park with a sweep of the Kenosha Kings, 3-1 in the first game, and 9-8 in game two.
The offensive highlight of game one came off the bat of Will Fadness, who hit a long two-run home run to left in bottom of the 6th inning. Mark Darley made a spectacular catch in right in the top of the 7th as the Cavs got the 3-1 victory.
With the wins the Cavs are now 2-0 in Wisconsin State League play and host the Kings again Sunday at 12pm.
