Bandits Defeat Giants

The Manitowoc Bandits scored two in the fourth and one in the fifth to defeat the Oshkosh Giants 3-0 Tuesday night.

The Manitowoc Bandits scored two in the fourth and one in the fifth to defeat the Oshkosh Giants 3-0 Tuesday night.

Starter Matt Roberts threw seven innings and allowed only three hits with seven strikeouts and no walks to earn the win.

Brad Liermann led Manitowoc offensively by going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double while Nat Richter was 2-for-4 as well.

The Bandits (12-2) play the Sheboygan A’s Thursday in Manitowoc.
