The Oshkosh Giants fell to 8-18 on the season after getting swept at home by the Wisconsin State League-leading Lombard Orioles.

The Oshkosh Giants fell to 8-18 on the season after getting swept at home by the Wisconsin State League-leading Lombard Orioles.

Lombard took the first game 10-4, despite a 3-for-3 day at the plate by the Giants’ Kyle Van Abel, and won the second game 7-5. Derrick Leyton went 2-for-4 at the plate for the Giants in the second game.

Matt Wells took the loss in Game 1 and Andrew Murphy fell in Game 2 for the Giants.
