Kings to play deciding game vs. Fielders today

The Kenosha Kings committed seven errors in their 8-3 loss to the Lake County Fielders on Sunday afternoon at Fielders Stadium in Zion, Ill.

The Kenosha Kings committed seven errors in their 8-3 loss to the Lake County Fielders on Sunday afternoon at Fielders Stadium in Zion, Ill.

Kenosha starting pitcher Andrew Paulauskas allowed nine hits and five runs (two earned) in six innings. He walked seven and struck out three.

“Walks and errors kind of doomed us today,” Kings manager Tim Pulizzano said.

John Hasser (3-for-5, double), J.T. Schneider (2-for-4, RBI), Matt Soderlund (2-for-5, RBI) and Chad Tindall (2-for-4) paced Kenosha’s 11-hit attack.

The exhibition series between the teams is tied 8-8 heading into the deciding game tonight in Zion.

Travis Vanderwall will start on the mound for the Kenosha squad.
