Cavs split with Addison

Seth Hurt had three hits and drove in three runs as the Eau Claire Cavaliers pounded out 17 hits in a 14-4 nightcap victory over the Addison Braves Sunday.
Eau Claire North graduate Seth Hurt had three hits and drove in three runs as the Eau Claire Cavaliers pounded out 17 hits in a 14-4 nightcap victory over the Addison Braves in Wisconsin State League action Sunday in Addison.
Eau Claire dropped the opener 13-2.
Fellow North grad Mitch DeGrasse added two RBIs, Menomonie native Brett Vavra had two hits, two run and two RBIs and former Memorial standout Nolan Fadness scored three times for the Cavs in their victory.
Dean Eisold, another North product, went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI in the game one loss.
