Bandits swept by Orioles

The Manitowoc Bandits dropped a pair of games on Sunday to the visiting Lombard Orioles, falling in Game 1, 2-1, and in Game 2, 7-4.
The Manitowoc Bandits dropped a pair of games on Sunday to the visiting Lombard Orioles, falling in Game 1, 2-1, and in Game 2, 7-4.
In Game 1, Bandits starting pitcher Atley Gay limited the Orioles over seven innings but took the loss. Manitowoc had the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh but could not push across the tying run.
In Game 2 the Bandits attempted a rally late in the contest but fell short as starting pitcher Marshall Zahn took the loss. Taylor Isadore led Manitowoc offensively as he homered in the game.
The Bandits travel to Oshkosh on Tuesday night to take on the Giants in a Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League contest.
