Cavaliers split with Bandits

The Manitowoc Bandits and Eau Claire Cavaliers split a early Saturday doubleheader.

Wisconsin State League

Ben Kincaid doubled twice, Brian Burman drove in three runs and Marcus Perleberg tossed a five-inning one-hitter as the Eau Claire Cavaliers beat the  Manitowoc Bandits 12-0 on Saturday to secure a split of a Wisconsin State League doubleheader at Carson Park.

The Bandits took the first game 3-0 behind seven scoreless innings from Marshall Zahn.

In the second game, Perleberg struck out four in five innings. He was backed by a 12-run, 13-hit attack. Nolan Fandess was 2-for-2 with three runs and two RBIs, while Kincaid was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
