Cavaliers sweep Bandits

Ben Kincaid fired a one-hitter in the opener to send the Eau Claire Cavaliers on their way to a 2-1, 6-3 sweep of the Manitowoc Bandits in a Wisconsin State League doubleheader Sunday at Carson Park.

Ben Kincaid fired a one-hitter in the opener to send the Eau Claire Cavaliers on their way to a 2-1, 6-3 sweep of the Manitowoc Bandits in a Wisconsin State League doubleheader Sunday at Carson Park.

Kincaid allowed one unearned run on one hit in seven innings. He walked two and struck out six.

In the second game, Brady Sand allowed three runs — one earned — in seven innings to help the Cavaliers complete the sweep. Brian Burman and Kincaid backed him by driving in two runs each.
