The Oshkosh Giants ended their regular season by getting swept by the Eau Claire Cavaliers at E.J. Schneider Field on Sunday.

The Giants lost the opener, 6-4 and fell in the nightcap, 10-6.

Robbie Kleman went 2-for-4 and had a two-run single in the third inning that tied the game at 4, but Eau Claire scored two runs in the fifth to hold on for the win.

The Giants pounded out 15 hits in the nightcap — including three each by Luke Gajewski and Michael Polcyn — and scored in every inning but the second but couldn’t match Eau Claire’s five-run third inning that gave the Cavaliers an 8-2 lead.

The Giants finish the regular season 17-15 and finish fourth in the Wisconsin State League with a 9-11 mark. Oshkosh does open up the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League playoffs tonight against the Menasha Macs at 7:30 p.m. at E.J. Schneider Field.
