Annual awards banquet set for Jan. 26

The Wisconsin State League's annual awards banquet will be held on Saturday, January 26 at The Heritage House on the grounds of The Bull at Pinehurst Farms, Sheboygan Falls.

The Wisconsin State League’s annual awards banquet will be held on Saturday, January 26 at The Heritage House on the grounds of The Bull at Pinehurst Farms in Sheboygan Falls, WI.

League, team and individual awards will be presented and the seven members of the 2012 Hall of Fame class will be inducted:

Major individual awards go to:
Most Valuable Player: Tyler Eickmeyer, Kenosha Kings
Most Valuable Pitcher: Randy Johnson, KenoshaKings
Rookie of the Year: Ryan Tuntland, Lombard Orioles
Manager of the Year: Jeff Vukovich, Lombard Orioles

Hall of Fame Inductees are:
Marty Bell, Madison
Tom Eckhardt, Sheboygan
Tony Gerharz, Oshkosh
Larry Kurkowski, Addison
Bryan Purchatzke, Oshkosh

The evening kicks off with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. dinner and the awards program beginning around 8 p.m.

Cost $30 per person. Send payment payable to Wisconsin State Baseball League to the league at PO Box 32, Sheboygan, WI  53082-0032.  Registration deadline Jan. 19.
