The Wisconsin State Baseball League held its annual Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner at The Bull at Pinehurst Farms in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday.
The Wisconsin State Baseball League held its annual Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner at The Bull at Pinehurst Farms in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday.
League Commissioner Tony Gerharz presented the 2012 Wisconsin State Baseball League Most Valuable Pitcher award to Randy Johnson, of the Kenosha Kings, and the 2012 Manager of the Year Award to Jeff Vukovich, of the Lombard Orioles.
Leading hitter and Most Valuable Player Tyler Eickmeyer of Kenosha and Rookie of the Year Ryan Tuntland of Lombard were unable to attend the dinner.
Seven new members were added to the Wisconsin State Baseball League Hall of Fame including Larry Kurkowski, of Addison, Bryan Purchatzke, of Oshkosh, Tony Gerharz, of Oshkosh, Tom Eckhardt, of Sheboygan, Mark Zeratsky, of Green Bay, Marty Bell, of Madison, and Cory Schaefer, who played for Oshkosh and Green Bay.
