The Eau Claire Cavaliers went 3-0 in the first annual Burger King/Wounded Warriors/Harv Tomter Memorial Tournament with a 16-0 victory Sunday over the Twins Port North Stars.

The Eau Claire Cavaliers went 3-0 in the first annual Burger King/Wounded Warriors/Harv Tomter Memorial Tournament with a 16-0 victory Sunday over the Twins Port North Stars.

The Cavs scored five runs in the third and exploded for nine runs in the fifth to put the game out of reach.

LaDarrius Cole had three hits to lead the way for Eau Claire, while Brian Burman and Will Fadness both went 2-for-4 with two RBIs each. Jake Jenneman worked 5 2/3 innings to pick up the win.

Saturday, the Cavs defeated the Duluth Xpress 17-7 in eight innings. Burman led the team with three hits and Yuji Nakajima picked up the win in relief.
