Non-League Roundup: Cavs’ Flesher throws no-hitter

Matt Flesher allowed just one man to reach base in a seven-inning no-hitter to lead the Eau Claire Cavaliers to an 11-0 win over the Spooner Bandits in non-league action on Wednesday at Carson Park.

Matt Flesher allowed just one man to reach base in a seven-inning no-hitter to lead the Eau Claire Cavaliers to an 11-0 win over the Spooner Bandits in non-league action on Wednesday at Carson Park.

Flesher, a Memorial graduate and current UW-Stout pitcher, struck out 10 while forcing seven groundouts and three flyouts.

Brett Vavra, Kyle Comer and LaDarrius Cole each had a pair of hits to lead the Cavs (11-4).
