A roundup of Wisconsin State League teams in action on Saturday.

The Eau Claire Cavaliers defeated the Twin Ports North Stars 5-2 before defeating the Spooner Bandits 9-1 on Saturday.

Jake Jenneman picked up the first win for the Cavs after tossing a complete game and fanning nine. Yuki Nishimoto got the win in the nightcap after giving up just one run on four hits.

Eau Claire is now 21-6 on the season.

Trevor Theissen and Cole Heili each had two hits as the Sheboygan A’s semi-pro baseball team earned a 7-1 home win over West Allis on Saturday afternoon.

Also for the A’s Luke Maldonado and Chad Langley each had doubles while Sam Mettheis has a single and a sacrifice fly with two RBI.

Dan Schmidt earned the win.

Following the game, the A’s (16-15) traveled to take on the Burlington Barons in a doubleheader, which ended too late to be included in today’s print edition of the Sheboygan Press.

The Addison Braves were sept by the Beecher Muskies 7-1 and 4-2 Saturday in Chicago Suburban Baseball League action. The Braves are now 4-16 in the CSBL.

The Lombard Orioles split a Saturday doubleheader with the Homestead Ranchers, losing game one 7-1 before winning game two 13-3.
