The Eau Claire Cavaliers swept a doubleheader Sunday from the Spooner Bandits. In game one, Ryan Connor hit a RBI single to score Tyler Duex to win the game by a score of 5-4. Other leading hitters in game one were Fall Creek’s Dusty Kuhnert, who went 3X3 with one run scored and two RBI’s. In game two, Dusty Kuhnert pitched a complete game and threw a 1-hitter, striking out 11 Spooner batters. The final score was 1-0 over the Bandits.

Orioles Sweep Weekend

The Lombard Oriles are off to a hot start after sweeping four games from the Westmont Red Sox over the weekend. On Saturday, the Orioles won by scores of 2-1 and 8-7. On Sunday, the Orioles won 2-1 and 4-2. Overall, Lombard is 6-1-1 to start the season.
