The Eau Claire Cavaliers capped the Wisconsin State League Challenge with a pair of heart-breaking walk-off losses Sunday.

The Eau Claire Cavaliers capped the Wisconsin State League Challenge with a pair of heart-breaking walk-off losses Sunday.

A bases-loaded walk spoiled a comeback effort in a 2-1 loss to the Lombard Orioles. Then three runs in the bottom of the seventh doomed the Cavaliers to a 7-6 loss to the Sheboygan A’s.

Maskai Onose had two hits in each game, while Naoki Otani had three hits and two RBIs against the A’s.
