Burman’s homer gives Cavs split

Brian Burman hit a walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to give the Eau Claire Cavaliers a 5-2 win over the Lombard Orioles in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday.

Brian Burman hit a walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to give the Eau Claire Cavaliers a 5-2 win over the Lombard Orioles in the second game of a doubleheader in Wisconsin State League action Saturday night at Carson Park. The Orioles won the first game 9-1.

Cory Bonner gave up two runs in seven solid innings for the Cavaliers in the second game. Eau Claire was held to two hits in the opener.
