McHorney steps down as Cavs manager

Eau Claire Cavaliers manager Mark McHorney announced his resignation Tuesday after seven seasons with the Wisconsin State League baseball team.

Eau Claire Cavaliers manager Mark McHorney announced his resignation Tuesday after seven seasons with the Wisconsin State League baseball team.

McHorney finishes his career with a record of 248-122. The Cavaliers went 27-21 in 2014 and 8-15 in the State League. He led his teams to two second-place finishes in the league. McHorney was the seventh manager in -Cavaliers history.

The board of directors is in the process of looking for a new manager.
