WSL Wednesday Recap: Sheboygan Tops Kenosha

Banging out 13 hits, including five for extra bases, the Sheboygan A’s beat up on the Kenosha Kings 12-2 Tuesday night at Wildwood Park to win their sixth straight game.

Banging out 13 hits, including five for extra bases, the Sheboygan A’s beat up on the Kenosha Kings 12-2 in mercy rule fashion Tuesday
night at Wildwood Park to win their sixth straight game.

The A’s
offense started hot, taking control of the game with a big two-out rally
in the third inning led by Wyatt Olson’s two-run home run that ignited
the easy victory.

Blake Fleischmann led the way offensively,
recording two triples and tallied four RBIs. Tony Grannis finished 3-4
and pitched in a home run of his own.

Eric Schmitz pitched a strong outing from the mound, picking up the complete game victory.

The
A’s are riding a six-game winning streak and have won eight of their
last nine. With the win, the team improves to 9-6 in the Wisconsin State
League and bumps their overall record to 15-6.
