The Oshkosh Giants picked up a dominating 36-3 win over Manitowoc in their regular season finale on Thursday.

The Oshkosh Giants picked up a dominating 36-3 win over Manitowoc in the regular season finale on Thursday.
Paul Mutch had a career day at the plate, driving in 13 runs, including two grand slams and two doubles.
Kleman added a 4-for-6 day with two doubles and five RBIs, while Colton
Demorett also drove in five runs. Michael Becker added four RBIs in the
Hunter Funkhouser picked up the win in Game 2 for Oshkosh.
Appleton Legends 10, Sheboygan A’s 4
The Appleton Legends used five walks to score four runs in the third
inning to wrestle the lead away from the A’s never looked back, spoiling
Sheboygan’s season finale and recent winning ways 10-4.
Fenner finished with a pair of doubles and Blake Fleischman hit a home
run to lead the A’s at the plate, but it was far from enough for the
club that played flat all night after winning seven straight and 12 of
their last 15. Mark Wallace took the loss for Sheboygan.
for the A‘s is the Northeastern Wisconsin League playoffs. The A’s will
most likely meet the Appleton Legends again in their first playoff game
Tuesday night at Wildwood Park. Appleton has the three seed and opens
against Manitowoc. Oshkosh hosts Green Bay in the other opener with the
winner playing at Menasha.
The A’s enter the playoff with a 32-16 overall record.
