WSL Friday Recap: Strong pitching leads the Lombard Orioles past Kenosha

The Kenosha Kings weren't able to score a run off of Dan Denz during his six innings on the rubber and the Lombard Orioles took home the win, 2-0.

The Kenosha Kings weren’t able to score a run off of Dan Denz during his six innings on the rubber and the Lombard Orioles took home the win, 2-0. 

Dan Denz allowed four hits, two walks and struck out three. 

Jason Bunton was charged with the loss. He lasted eight innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed two runs. 

Lombard Orioles closer Mark Gianely put away the final nine outs to record the save. 

The lead stayed with the Lombard Orioles after the first, when they scored one run on an RBI single by Pat Rumero.
