WSL Wednesday Roundup: Lombard Stays Unbeaten with 12-4 Victory Over Addison

The Lombard Orioles improved their WSL record to 7-0 with a 12-4 victory at Addison on Wednesday.

The Lombard Orioles beat the Addison Braves on Wednesday 12-4 at Addison Community Park, Addison, IL.
The Orioles scored three runs in the sixth on a groundout by Mitch Boe, an RBI single by Matt Hoge, and an RBI single by Quincy Jones.
Mike Matia racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Orioles. He homered in the eighth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.
Brian Wiest racked up two RBIs on one hit for Addison with a home run in the first inning.
Jason Meger got the win, allowing two runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered eight hits.
Josh Rahn took the loss for the Addison Braves. He lasted just four innings, walked six, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
The bottom of the first saw the Braves take an early lead, 2-0 when Dalvin Ramos singled before Wiest homered.
The Orioles went up for good in the fourth, scoring three runs on a two-run double by Boe and a sacrifice fly by Gehrig Parker.
